Sheet Alerts is an add-on for Google Sheets. You set a rule — for example "email the person in column E three days before the date in column C" — and we send that reminder on your behalf, even when the file is closed.
By installing the add-on you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, remove the add-on.
These terms are between you and us. Google is not a party: they provide the marketplace, not the product. Questions and complaints come to us, not to Google.

The unsubscribe link is always there, including on Pro. We cannot remove it and neither can you — see section 4.
We may adjust these limits. If we lower a limit you are actively using, we will say so at least 30 days in advance inside the add-on, and you may cancel with a refund of the unused period.
Prices are shown on this site. We may change them, but never during a period you have already paid for, and never without 30 days' notice.
Please actually read this section. It is not boilerplate — it is the reason this product can keep existing.
Sheet Alerts sends email from shared sending infrastructure. If one user abuses it, everyone else's reminders land in spam. So:
Allowed: reminders to people you already have a relationship with — colleagues, clients, members, students, suppliers, tenants. People who know who you are and understand why they are hearing from you.
Not allowed:
You are responsible for the addresses you enter and for the content you send. We do not review that content in advance.
What happens if you break this: we suspend your account immediately, without warning and without a refund. That is harsh, and it is deliberate — with sender reputation there is no middle ground. One bad sender hurts everyone.
Limits we watch: if more than 4% of your messages bounce, or more than 0.1% of recipients mark them as spam, we pause your sending and get in touch. That is protection, not punishment — for you and for every other user.
Addresses that bounce or unsubscribe go on a block list. You cannot work around it, including by re-entering the address.
Sheet Alerts is provided as is.
We do our best to send on time, but we do not guarantee delivery. We depend on Google, on our sending provider, and on the recipient's mail server. Messages can be delayed, land in a spam folder, or not arrive at all.
So do not use Sheet Alerts as the only safeguard for anything carrying a legal deadline, a penalty, a medical appointment, or a financial consequence. It is a helper, not a guarantee. Where a missed reminder would be costly, there should be a second check that does not depend on us.
We may perform maintenance and interrupt the service. For planned maintenance longer than an hour, we announce it in advance.
We are not liable for damage arising from a message that was sent late, not sent, or sent incorrectly — including lost revenue, a missed deadline, or consequential damage.
Where we are liable, that liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months. For free users that is zero.
These limits do not apply in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, nor where the law does not permit them.
How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: we read only the file you use us in, only the columns you point at, and we sell nothing on.
You remain the owner of your data. We claim nothing over it.
You can stop at any time by removing the add-on. We erase your data within 30 days.
We can end your access if you breach section 4, if you do not pay, or if we discontinue the product. If we discontinue it, we will give at least 60 days' notice and refund the unused part of any subscription.
If we change these terms materially, we will say so inside the add-on before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Sheet Alerts after that means the new version applies.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the competent court for Midwolda, unless the law designates another court — for consumers that is often the court where they live.
